University Village Recreation Program, at UC Berkeley was founded in 1986 and established to serve the needs of the University’s family housing residents but has since broadened to serve the general public.

The program participants represent a cross-section of cultural and international diversity that includes families from 65+ countries. Programs, classes, camps and open recreation are available to children, teens and adults.

Adult Recreation:
Fitness Circuit Training, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Core Conditioning, Kojosho Karate, Tai Chi, Aerial, plus Futsal, Basketball, Badminton and Weight Room.

Youth Recreation:
Gymnastics, Basketball, Soccer, Aerial, Art, Skateboard, Circus Arts and more…

Summer Camps 2018:
Baseball (with Eastbay Cyclones) – Basketball (including a special All-Girls week) – Soccer – Lego-Engineering (with Playwell Teknologies) – On the Water: Kayaking, Paddle-boarding & Sailing (with Cal Adventures) – Skateboarding – Chess (with Berkeley Chess School) – Circus Arts – Aerial – Multi-sport: Bowling, Swimming & Bubble Soccer – Gymnastics – Tech Camp (with Techsplosion!) & More!

Facility Rentals:
Many of our facilities are available for rent including the Gymnasium, Community Room and Classrooms.
