Piers Morgan, 55, revealed to his colleague Susanna Reid that he was once left naked in a hotel corridor, after he thought room service had delivered his food to his door, only to end up accidentally being shut out. The GMB host was left “wandering” the corridors “completely stark naked” as he attempted to find someone to let him back into his hotel room.
The admission from Piers, came after GMB reporter Nick Dixon shared that he once got his shirt sleeve stuck in his hotel room door before arriving at the ITV studios.
This reminded Piers of his own hotel mishap, as he divulged: “I remember once thinking room service would come to my door, many years ago, and I opened the door poked my head out, couldn’t see anything and thought they may have left it on the floor.
“Popped out, door shuts behind me, wouldn’t have mattered had I not been completely stark naked, and then had to wander around the corridor of this hotel trying to find somebody.
“It was very awkward,” he added.
“Maybe stop making this crisis about your struggle with trolls & direct your energy into rallying support for NHS workers risking their lives for us all in very dangerous circumstances?”
Piers has now alleged that TV bosses have asked him to issue her with an apology.
He told the Mirror: “She got a load of TV execs to call me up trying to get me to stop and apologise.
“I was like, ‘You’ve got to be joking’. It was a very short phone call. I said, ‘I’m entitled to my opinion and I intend to keep saying it’, which they accepted.”
He added: “Everyone’s going to have an opinion but you should respect opinions you don’t agree with.”
Kirstie responded to Piers remarks by labelling him a “total b*****d” for sharing the post with his many followers.
She wrote: “You total b*****d there was NO need to Retweet that to your millions of followers, it was totally unnecessary and unkind thing to do.”
Piers, not stepping down from the argument, continued the row by retweeting the star once more, as he typed: “Oh get over yourself. Seriously. People are dying, and others are risking their lives to try to save them.”
If the global coronavirus pandemic put a major wrench in your travel plans, here’s a silver lining: sometimes, the best vacation days are the ones spent close to home. You can just as easily nurse your travel bug by exploring parts of your neighborhood you haven’t ventured into yet, ordering takeout from restaurants you haven’t tried before, and booking an Airbnb in the next town over (or sleeping in the living room for a change of scenery). It’s also worth browsing celebrity staycation outfits as inspiration for what to wear when you’re OOO.

Granted, “staycation” is indicative of time spent staying put, but just because you aren’t chilling on a beach in Florida or jet setting to another country doesn’t mean you can’t dress like you’re doing just that. Celebrate your much-need time off (take that PTO!) with outfits that, first and foremost, make you feel good. If that means dolling up for a socially distanced night out (or in!), awesome. If that means vegging out on the couch in your comfiest sweats, even better!
How and where you choose to spend your staycation is up to you, but just in case you’re curious, here are a few celeb-inspired looks to narrow down your outfit choices and help you escape — even if it’s just in your mind.
A Sexy Date Night Outfit

Date nights, like days off, look a little different than they used to given the current state of the world. But even if your romantic evening translates to eating out of takeout containers, what better way to spice things up a bit than with a sexy date-night outfit? Of course, what you consider “sexy” is subject to you and your partner’s tastes, so if that means breaking out your favorite LBD with strappy heels like Hailey Bieber, go for it! If that means a tank top and sweats, great! Do you.

Incorporating pops of color into your wardrobe will liven up your style, but vibrant hues might also boost your mood. Tie-dye has been popping up all over Hollywood, with starlets like Irina Shayk, Hailey Bieber, JLo, Stella Maxwell, and even Jennifer Aniston embracing the trend. From T-shirts and sweatpants, to matching sets and face masks, psychedelic color patterns are a great way to hold onto summer and warmer weather, even as the temperature dips into the the teens.
Tropical Prints to Channel Island Vibes

As long as the CDC travel restrictions are still in place, you probably won’t be sunbathing under dreamy Florida palm trees anytime soon. But you know what they say: if you can’t join them, wear them (…or something along those lines). Tropical prints (think vibrant green leaves, passion flowers, and exotic birds) can help manifest the kind of euphoric mood exclusive to vacation. Complete
Just before announcing their split, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler had gone on a family vacation to the Bahamas, spending three weeks together with their three children.
With a source telling E! News “that their marriage has been over” for some time now, it seems this trip served as a final vacation together before announcing their decision to divorce after almost seven years of marriage.
But Cavallari and Cutler are far from the first celebrity couple to go on one final vacation together before parting ways, with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston infamously being photographed embracing on a beach just days before their shocking split and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner going on their annual family vacation after announcing their separation.
Here are some celebrity couples who took intimate vacations together and enjoyed some fun in the sun just before announcing their separation…and some who even vacationed together just after making the news official.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston
After months of endless speculation about the state of their marriage and rampant rumors of an affair with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie, Hollywood’s It couple was photographed embracing on the beach while on a New Year’s vacation in the Bahamas with good friends Courteney Cox and her then-husband David Arquette.
But just days later, on Jan. 7, Pitt and Aniston announced in a joint statement that they were separating, a breakup that would kick-start one of the biggest and most enduring gossip stories in Hollywood history.
“We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate. For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media. This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration,” they said. “We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another. We ask in advance for your kindness and sensitivity in the coming months.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux
Maybe there’s something about a new year?
In honor of the holidays and New Year’s Eve, the duo traveled to Cabo San Lucas for what would end up being their last vacation as a married couple.
After ringing in 2018 together, Aniston and Theroux released a statement confirming their split after less than three years of marriage the following month.
The vacation would end up being the last time the couple was photographed together before news broke of their separation.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner
Just two months after officially filing for divorce in 2017, Affleck and Garner still made sure to spend quality time with their three children together, taking a family vacation to Baker’s Bay.
“Ben and Jen took a family vacation with other family friends,” an insider tells E! News. “There was never any question that Ben would be
