Volunteers

Want to have fun and do something interesting? Volunteer at the East Texas
Arboretum. Arboretum volunteers come from all over the area, with varied
interests and backgrounds. When you volunteer at the Arboretum, you receive
the satisfaction of making a positive contribution to   the growth   of YOUR
Arboretum!

You don't have to be an expert on plants. There's a place for people with all
kinds of talent!   Clubs and organizations are welcome too. Bring your talents
and interests to the Garden—we'll find a place for you!

Ways to   volunteer   include such   activities as   preparing   bulk mailings,
performing general clerical duties, guiding visitors though our nature trail,
working with school children on field trips, assisting at special events like our
annual fair, and tending our gardens and natural areas. For more information
