As television and film productions everywhere continue to grapple with the significant complications posed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Jersey Shore figured out a way to still provide fans with a brand new season.

On Thursday, MTV announced via a YouTube promo teaser that the next season of the show is coming back on November 19th, with back to back episodes.

And according to TMZ, the entirety of season 4 takes place at a resort in Nevada, where the whole JS gang holed up with the crew along with their extended families so as not to risk any outside exposure to the disease.

This ‘bubble’ approach has been successful in other venues, such as with NBA, which just completed a season of basketball leading to the LA Lakers championship victory.

The upcoming season of Jersey Shore, dubbed Jersey Shore ‘Bring the Family’ Vacation, will see the return of Deena Cortese, Paul ‘Pauly D’ Delvecchio, Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick and Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino.

Noticeably absent, however, is fan favorite Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, who very publicly left the show late last year.

This season, apparently, will see the guys of Jersey Shore attempt to reunite the ladies, whose fractured relationships are what caused Snooki’s exit.

It all came to a head in the finale of JS: FV’s season 3 last November, during Angelina’s wedding to Chris Larangeira, when Polizzi, Farley and Cortese’s toast at the nuptials was poorly received.

Insisting it was all meant in good fun, by the end of the episode, Snooki proclaimed that she was ‘done’ with the show – a sentiment she has upheld since.

According to a statement from MTV made to People, the incident left the ‘family fractured, leaving the boys with only one option — make the family whole again.’

Known for its over-the-top shenanigans and salacious characters, MTV’s original Jersey Shore originally premiered in 2009 and was enormously popular, lasting six seasons.

The show was rebooted as Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in 2018, sans original cast member Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola.

The show returns on Thursday, November 19th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

MTV Sets Premiere Date for JERSEY SHORE FAMILY VACATION

Back-to-back episodes on Thursday, November 19th at 8PM ET/PT.

MTV Sets Premiere Date for JERSEY SHORE FAMILY VACATION

MTV today announced that its powerhouse series “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” is set to return this holiday season with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, November 19th at 8PM ET/PT. Following an explosive season-three finale, which was the highest-rated episode since 2018, the pop-culture phenomenon returns for season four to make “Jerztory” as the world looks a little different and social distancing is the new rule.

For the first time ever, it’s “Jersey Shore ‘Bring the Family’ Vacation” as our favorite roommates take over an entire resort living their best lives in their own “Shore” bubble.

With more than 10 years of ups and downs and humor and heart, the cast has always made it out on the other side stronger than ever — until now. Angelina’s wedding and the speech heard around the world left THE FAMILY fractured, leaving the boys with only one option — make THE FAMILY whole again. So, DJ Pauly D takes over a resort and with the help of Mike “The Situation,” Vinny and Ronnie, they hatch a plan to reunite the girls, invite the extended family to distract them from the drama, and hope for the best. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but with this group you never know what will happen.

Leading up to the highly-anticipated season four premiere, MTV will air “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” season three recap specials on Thursday, November 5th and Thursday, November 12th at 8PM ET/PT.

“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” features housemates Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. “Jersey Shore,” which first premiered in 2009 and returned in 2018 to record ratings, is an MTV worldwide phenomenon that features such hits as “Floribama Shore,” “Geordie Shore” (UK), “Gandia Shore” (Spain), “Warsaw Shore” (Poland), “Acapulco Shore” (Mexico) and “Super Shore.”

“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” is produced by MTV, SallyAnn Salsano and 495 Productions.

They’re Back! Jersey Shore Family Vacation Sets Season 4 Premiere Date

Jerzdays are back!

On Monday, MTV announced that Jersey Shore Family Vacation is set to return on Nov. 19 — just in time for the holidays!

This season, which has been dubbed Jersey Shore “Bring the Family'”Vacation,  Deena Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino are taking over an entire resort where they will live their “best lives” in their own “Shore” bubble, according to MTV.

The new chapter picks back up after an explosive season 3, which saw Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi decide to leave the show after a disastrous speech at Pivarnick’s wedding.

The incident left the “family fractured, leaving the boys with only one option — make the family whole again,” according to MTV.

So, in attempt to get the band back together, Delvecchio, 40, will take over a resort with the help of Sorrentino, Guadagnino and Ortiz-Magro — with hopes of reuniting the girls.

The boys have also invited “the extended family to distract them from drama, and hope for the best.”

However, time will only tell if this plan works out.

The season finale chronicled Pivarnick’s wedding to Chris Larangeira last November. Drama between Pivarnick, 34, and her female costars erupted after Polizzi, Farley and Cortese’s off-color bridesmaid speech prompted boos from the other guests, and at the end of the night, Polizzi declared that she was “done” with the show.

While they insisted they meant no harm by their speech, Pivarnick was furious. And the tensions didn’t subside; the stars continued arguing on Twitter as the episode aired.

Polizzi, 32, addressed the renewal in June in a reply to costar Sorrentino’s tweet about the news.

“Good luck my fam,” she wrote. “Can’t wait to watch.”

Jersey Shore originally premiered in 2009 and was rebooted as Family Vacation in 2018 with the original cast, minus Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.

Polizzi first announced that she was retiring from the beloved show last December. Speaking to PEOPLE, she opened up about the decision, noting that her TV career isn’t over yet.

“I’m definitely not done with TV,” she added. “I’m just done with that show.”
