Usually during the Arboretum's Spring Gala, the other birds and I hang out down in the woods. We are kind of shy and like the quiet of nature there. But this year we were so delighted with the cool weather, we just could not stay away. Wow, were we glad we dropped in on the Sping Gala.
The attendees had a wonderfully delightful time. Many wore such festive plumage; you humans all call them hats and dresses, I think. It was a truly a treat! The band stirred up some beautiful music. The band music delighted us birds so much they had us dancing in the trees.
Well, if you missed the Gala we are so sorry. Maybe you will be able to make the Fall Festival or the Spring Gala next year. After attending the Gala this year, I am looking forward to both upcoming events.
