Things have been buzzing here at the Arboretum this week, with all the preparation for the Annual Spring GALA. When you arrive you will be amazed at how beautiful everything is. The rain this week slowed preperations down a bit but the plants and us birds all appreciated it so much. Such a relief to have some COOL weather again! I hear it will stick around for the big event tonight, too.
Well, some of the birds that don't like crouds will miss the GALA, but we all trust that everyone will have a grand time celebrating and that lots of money will be raised to keep the Arboretum open and flurishing this year. This is such a lovely place and I feel blessed to call it my home.
